Below is my abstract painting from my Painting and Printmaking class. I first made a magazine collage, and I then picked a section of it to recreate with acrylic paint. I found there were some challenges with trying to make my painting look like the collage, but I ended up figuring out how to tweak a few things to make it work. This was our third painting project for this class, and I noticed that I understood acrylic paint more. I decided to share this painting because I am proud of the results and how much I have learned in this class this semester!
